AyCe's Stuff
Welcome to my page! :-)
I'll extend it soon™, for now, it's only a place to store my Java-projects.
(Just those I make available for public)
Please note that you need Java installed to play them. Download Java here!
Also check out my Moddb Page!

List of Java projects:
Metagun MP 1.02
I modded the game Metagun so it's a 2-player-game now.
The original creator of this game is Markus Persson aka Notch.
Watch him making this game in 48 hours in a timelapse video here!
He's also the creator of the brilliant game Minecraft. Go check it out!
Leaf me Alone 1.2.0
This is a game I created for the Ludum Dare #22 Contest, a competition where you have to make a game in one weekend.
The theme this time was "Alone" so I think my game fits well... or not. You decide.
The download links will get you the updated version. This one has very much improvements compared to the compo version.
You can even download the source. However, don't claim it as your work. Modding is OK.
Jumpr 1.1.1
I aimed to make this like Doodlejump (which I've never played).
This is a little game I made during some lessons of IT. The computers in our school don't have sound - so that's why there isn't audio (yet).
Made with BlueJ, Paint.NET & Irfan View. (Tools on the school-computers)
Please report any bugs / ask questions on this page. Thanks! :-)
Oh, and this is UNFINISHED!
Gravitation 1.1
This is a game me and TheFridolin created for the Ludum Dare #23 Contest, a competition where you have to make a game in one weekend.
The theme this time was "Tiny World". We did not have time to make something proper, so we put this together. Have fun.
Fightgame Alpha
This is supposed to be a kind of alpha-version for the Fightgame - a long planned project of the PW community and me.
It supports multiplayer, very dumb bots, and has even dedicated servers. We are currently hosting an official server. You can join it by clicking the button "Official Server" in the main menu.
Or host your own game and play with friends. LAN is always supported, if you want to host an online game, you have to open a TCP port for it and start the server on this one.
Foldersizer 1.2.1
This is not a game but rather a nice little tool to explore the size of your folders.
This may sound trivial, but getting the size of a folder means adding up the size of all its files and subfolders.
Just specify the root folder, click the button and watch the list filling.
Folders are continously gettings sorted by size (big folders first).
It's currently hardcoded to use 10 threads for working. Use the following controls:
LMB: Go into folder. If folder is not yet loaded, add it to important folders.
RMB: Make the loading of the folder or its subfolders (recursive, all which are not loaded) important.
While holding CTRL: Make the loading of the entire folder with all its subfolders important.
Click the gray area on the upper right saying "Zurück" to go back by one folder.
The colors of the folders:
Blue - Folder still pending
Red - Error while accessing folder
Black - Folder processed, but at least 1 subfolder is still pending
Green - Folder completely processed
Black box around folder - Unprocessed but important
Yellow background - All the subfolders are also important
Texts are german, but the program is so simple, anyone should understand it.
Ah, and you can even save a report file. (If you somehow find this useful ^^)
I made this cause I got disk space problems and wanted to see where it was gone. ;-P
This is a very handy tool to create an ICO file out of some PNG files. It supports transparency and the four most common formats.
I've searched for simple tools to do that, but couldn't find good ones for free. So here you go! :D
Oh, and this requires Java 7!
BETTER USE THIS TOOL INSTEAD! - Mine is buggy, and the linked tool is way better :(
Life Buster 1.0.0
This is a game I created for the Ludum Dare #25 Contest, a competition where you have to make a game in one weekend.
The theme this time was "You are the villain", and I was going for a side-scrolling 2D RTS game called "Goatz!" (since "goats" was kind of the sub-theme).
But after two days of coding, all I could show was goats of various colors breaking walls with their horns - which looked cute, but was not a real game (rather an engine test).
So, 5h before deadline, I said to myself: Screw this, make some no-brain game. I picked up the next idea I had, and went straight to coding (I could use the stuff I already had as a base).
Your job is to ruin the lives of the smilies on the screen. This works by placing misfortunes and hoping the smileys walk into them.
Although this may seem a bit psycho, it's actually a great way to reduce stress. Don't let too many smilies occupy the screen!
You can even download the source. However, don't claim it as your work. Modding is OK.
Schachrätselator 1.0.0
This is a tool I created for someone who wanted to make a chess puzzle. The graphics are copied/edited by TheFridolin, the programm itself is made by me in like... 1 hour?
Just click and right-click to use different figures and save the puzzle (Speichern), it creates a loadable file and a 800x800 PNG. Yeah, you can load the saved puzzles at any time (*.srd files).
If you don't know what chess is about this is probably useless for you. :-P
Casino 1.0
This is a game I created for the Ludum Dare #26 Contest, a competition where you have to make a game in one weekend.
The theme this time was "Minimalism", and I was going for a space-battle-RTS-game called "Spacewars".
The development went well, I reached my goals, and on top of all, I learned a lot. Good. But the game did not really fit to the theme.
So instead making a minimized RTS game, I went for something completely different in the last hours.
Worked out well. Enjoy :)
You can even download the source. However, don't claim it as your work. Modding is OK.
Secret Agents
Secret Agents is a game about hiding your identity while uncovering your fellow agents. This is a computer game version of the game "Heimlich & Co.".
Of course I do not own any rights to the concept or idea or any other versions of this game. But I liked it for its simplicity, so I made my own version of it - for free of course!
The development of this game improved my coding skills greatly: While making the simple mechanics wasn't too hard, I also implemented (overpowered ^^) features like a server browser - both for LAN and Internet!
The website explains everything, from how the game is played, to how you setup a multiplayer game.
I should mention I got a lot of support from Feivelyn, who created almost all graphics and the two sound jingles. Cheers!
Oh, and please report any bugs to me. :-) Thanks!
BockWash
This game is all about washing dirty wool. You do it by applying washing powder and water. You apply water by shooting water bombs. You apply washing powder by shooting at birds. With water bombs. Be fast and be efficient in order to get a good ranking for the online-leaderboards!
Confused? Please visit the game's website for further description.
It's currently available in English and German.
Don't worry though - even if you don't understand the texts, you should still be able to understand how the game works.
Feivelyn once again created the graphics and even the music for this game. Thanks! :-)
Watermarker
This is a tool for watermarking images, designed to be called as a "send to"-action. It might be a bit weird to use.
It can be configured and used with a UI, but also supports console-based usage.
Minecraft LAN to External Port Tool v5
This tool makes it easi(er) to host a LAN Minecraft game and expose it to the Internet via a forwarded port. It's basically a TCP proxy that accepts incoming connections and pipes them to a different port.
By default Minecraft will choose a random TCP port when opening a LAN game, but you might have a certain port forwarded which you don't want to change every time you start a LAN world. Here you just enter the local port that Minecraft chooses and your external port and press "Start". The ports are saved, so you only need to change the LAN port every time you start a LAN world (Minecraft displays the port chosen in the chat). After starting the tool will get your external IP address from an online service and combine it with the external port to create an IP address/port combination that you can send to other people so they can connect to your server across the Internet. It needs to keep running in the background while players are still connected.
Maybe it is of use to someone.
