We should replace the sound of SEAS Medic. Currently it uses the DC Monk's speeches, but imo the NM Druid's fit way better:
1) It doesn't make sense for him to have an Asian accent.
2) His gag dialogue about herbs and mushrooms and other drugs fits way better than the Confucius thing.

We just need to leave out 'The ancestors guide me" and all those druid-specific sounds and it will sound a lot better and more fitting.


I have already finished the necessary unitacks file. Go to \Sunflowers\ParaWorld\Data\MIRAGE\Scripts\Server\init and replace the file "unitacks_seas_medic.txt" by the one I attached to this post.

I would put this in the appropriate Dropbox folder but I don't want to mess anything in there up, so here goes. Henry, I hope you see this. We should include this changed sound in the next Mirage. Any opinions?

I must say the same for seas_warrior who says fraze “For the tribe!” Which makes no sense for modern race

we can remove this phrase from his UnitAcks, if that's the only non-fitting thing he says, and if it's not the only phrase for a certain action, it's no problem

Question about this mod, does it have a virus? Because both Google Chrome and Windows defender detect it as Trojan virus, same thing for CEP mod.

If you've downloaded the files from para-welt.com they should be fine. Check what https://www.virustotal.com/ is thinking about the files.

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum :) some virus checkers go into alert mode because of one of the .exe files even if you download the mods directly from us.

I know you can't really rely on the word of a few internet strangers, but for what it's worth: Mirage and CEP are not viruses. But do run a virustotal scan to be extra safe.

Hallo allerseits,
ich wollte mal nach langer zeit wieder mal den Mod Mirage spielen, aber konnte es nicht runterlade, da mein Windows defender die Datei dauernd gelöscht hat. Deswegen habe ich mein windows Defender ausgeschaltet, um zu sehen warum die Datei dauernd automatisch gelöscht wird. Ich habe es zudem bei Virustotal die Datei überprüfen lassen und siehe da, es sind mehrere Trojaner auf dieser Datei.

Jetzt meine frage, soll ich mir sorgen machen, wenn ich es runterladen sollte ? Und wieso hat diese Datei so viele Meldungen, dass es sich um Trojaner und Malewares handelt?

Ich wollte mal nachfragen, was mit dem großen Piratenschiff von Mijagi in Mirage passiert ist, weil ich finde sein Schiff nicht mehr?

Hallo und willkommen im Forum, xKBx :)

Einige Virenscanner scheinen bei Mirage etwas zu entdecken. Das Problem haben wir seit Jahren, ich weiß nicht wie wir es lösen können, außer nach dem Download für Mirage.exe eine Ausnahme in den Virenscanner aufzunehmen.
Mirage ist definitiv kein Virus...

Bzgl. dem großen Piratenschiff: Du kannst in den Mirage-Einstellungen im Spielmenü vor dem Spiel einstellen, dass du 6 Epochen statt 5 haben willst. Dann kannst du als Drachen-Clan im Hafen das große Piratenschiff bauen, wenn du Epoche 6 erreicht hast. Mit Epoche 6 kannst du auch den fässerwerfenden Gigantopithecus in der Saurierfarm bauen und bei anderen Völkern entsprechend epische Einheiten und Gebäude :)

Hi, es scheint als hättest du paraworld_cep.exe hochgeladen, was der Launcher vom CEP ist, nicht Mirage. Der wird leider in der Tat von einigen Virenscannern heuristisch erkannt. Der Grund liegt vielleicht darin dass nach Updates gesucht wird, wozu eine Website kontaktiert wird (aber das macht eigentlich update_checker.exe) oder die Möglichkeit Para-welt.com zu öffnen. Der Launcher ist in AutoIt3 geschrieben (Source: https://github.com/TheRealAyCe/CEP/blob ... uncher.au3 ). Leider verwenden viele Viren ebenfalls AutoIt3, wodurch diese Scanner evtl. einfach alle damit erstellten Programme als Viren kennzeichnen. Die Datei sollte clean sein, aber wenn du technisch versiert bist kannst du dir gern den Launcher selbst mit dem Quellcode von Github kompillieren.

it's not a trojan, it's just coded in AutoIt3 like many viruses so a few scanners strike alarm.

Moin Leute! Heute habe ich Mirage 2.6.3 installiert und seitdem spielen meine Arbeiter verrückt.... sie wollen keine Ressourcen abbauen und bauen von allein Gebäude. Bei 2.6.2 hatte ich das Problem, dass die Arbeiter wahr los Gebäude bauen auch schon... nur nicht so krass wie jetzt :?

Den Cache habe ich schon geleert und in den Mirage Einstellungen habe ich auch schon alles ausprobiert... Soll ich nochmal alles neu installieren?

Klingt als hättest du AI-Assist an :? schau mal in den "normalen" Einstellungen (bevor du auf Kampagne, Gefecht usw. klickst), ob AI-Assist an ist. Warum deine Arbeiter dir dann aber nicht gehorchen, weiß ich auch nicht. AI-Assist ist die Option, dass du beim Spielen quasi Hilfe von einer extra KI bekommst, die deinen Arbeitern sagt was sie machen sollen usw.

so uhm... I'm a little out of the loop. Is it possible yet to create a spino titan with some nice buildups etc. to replace the SEAS rex?

Also, would it be possible to remove that horn buildup from the DR Trex titan's head?

oh and i found a bug in the Zeppelin's speech:

at unitacks_[tribe]_zeppelin.txt there's an entry:

ideally, give the trex the horn buildup with an upgrade which causes his attacks to deal area damage?

Really? Awesome! Can we please do that? Those horns have been annoying me for like 14 years and giving trex area dmg via upgrade and visual horns makes soo much sense from a real-world viewpoint

or if not, can you tell me how i can remove them myself, for my game only?

okay great, so how can we go about this? a new model trex without the horns to replace the standard one and the area dmg upgrade also replaces the hornless model with the horned one?

i thought DryFun would be able to do it work with switchable model flags (like armor plates or saddles)
if not possible, than what you just wrote
although DryFun doesn't seem to be around (online) lately (i know, the same applies to me)
