Mixing game chat with Tavern chat

Post by Marcusaralius76 »

I had no idea where to put this, so I figured I'd throw it here with the other multiplayer-based stuff.

This idea would put two tabs above chat in the GUI while playing Paraworld. One would be for the game itself, and any players involved. The other would link to Para-welt's Tavern chat, allowing players in-game to talk to anyone not in game. Or even players in Skirmish mode! Or players in two separate matches!

This would help players link up without getting their games disturbed.

This works via Xfire, you can use your browser and also the Xfire chatroom. I don't know if we can integrate this into normal MP...?

This idea is with us for a long time :) but there seems to be no way to make it possible (at the moment)

Perhaps with a different chat program?
