Balancing SEAS Unit

Post by Kharg »

So tric told me to open a new topic somewhere and speak about a unit to balancing 1 unit every 2 weeks :)
This is not about hero specials or new ideas. Only the new values for already existing units. Posts not concerning this topic are deleted automatically. Scrat.
so lets start:
First unit of the week Seas warrior what should we change about it?

The guard, right? Imo he should have the values of a DR warrior, be built at level 2 and cost 80 food and 40 wood. That would make him the standart meelee infanterist. Without any upgrades, a modern army like the SEAS only keep their meelee infanterists for tradition. ;)

That dependson the strategy. Maybe he can be used well in After-Rush pushes, and as he does so upgrades can be quite neat. In games like 1v1v1 onward noone builds them anyway

Depends on our will. We can make him the level 1 standart fighter or a level 2 warrior.

How about making the SEAS else? Why a standard-fighter?

Because you need something that you can rush with, or defend against rushes. Early.

The question is, would we take the guard or the marksman as level 1 unit?
