Paraworld Won`t Load Or Run

Hi everybody.
I have just bought a new PC which uses the 64-bit version of Windows 10. I had no problem installing Paraworld on my new computer. However, when I try to load the game from the original DVD, nothing happens, Can anyone advise me, please?

you might need to install the Windows 7 fix:
http://forum.para-welt.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1128 (also works on higher levels of Windows. Download and install the Boosterpack, it has the Windows 7 fix integrated)

Install the Boosterpack 2.0 first though
And remember to set your language there correctly.
