I'm new to this game, and I wonder who the heroes correspond to. I have found some of them, but not all (I play with a french version, so I'm sorry if the spelling of heroes name is incorrect):

• Anthony Cole = ??
  Stina Holmlund = ??
  Bela Andras Benedek = ??
  Nikolaj Taslov = Nikola Tesla, who gave its name to an unit in electromagnetism
  [James/Charles] Warden (the first name is not stable in the game, at least in its french version) = Charles Darwin, who discovered evolution through natural selection
  Heinrich Kleemann = ??
  Ada Loven = Ada Lovelace, who worked with Babbage, and pioneered computer science
  Jarvis Babbit = Charles Babbage, who invented the first computer (designed to work without electricity, very convenient in Paraworld)

the first three dont have reference in rl, and heinrich kliemann is heinrich schliemann, who discovered troja.

Cole, Stina and Béla were designed to look like George Clooney, Nicole Kidman and Johnny Depp, they have no references in historically important people.

Btw, Leighton refers to David Livingstone, an english Africa-explorer who afaik died of a disease in Africa.

well despite the fact they are 3 of the worlds most famous actors and actress

the rest of the heros are based of the worlds most famous scientists

Wow never thought of that, how could I have missed it

In my opinion, the references of the three main heros aren't this strong.
For example, Cole looks a lot more like Hugh Jackman than George Clooney.
In addition, their names don't have anything in common with their opponents, most others have.

What should they have been named then?

@ LQ, according to Neox Cole's textures have been reworked several times.

I remember the old skins, some looked like mr clooney but some looked kinda random

I'll admit it's been about a year since I've played but who is Miyagi? I'm pretty sure he's not in the campaign....

He is a Seasmod/Mirage hero. But he was originally created by SEK Ost and got deactivated during development. He is a Pirate Captain

His model and textures are called myagi, which is probably an homage to Mr. Myagi from the Karate Kid movies
