I agree on that one.
Although i simply hate, that the same goes for each hero unit on level 5, they are just too flimsy (at least against a huge army). At least Leighton can vanish

maybe you should do it by changing scape/terrain texture around the unit, so that it is only walkable at the point, where it stands, and around everything unwalkable
so that if the AI would command it to go anywhere else, it wouldn't be able to do so

Changing it's stance still works through trigger, but it must also be prevented that AI commands it to go anywhere else.

no, i meant the stances you can also use for units to prevent them going anywhere on their own
from help menu:
"Hold position means that units do not move even when attacked.
However they do fight all units coming within range of their weapons."

Okay, that function works normally. If it doesn't then something is bugged on map and prevents the conversion. Send the map, and tell me what would you like to do.

uhm, unfair :)
But i like the idea of letting Stina be saved by mounting her into class 1 transporters (open baskets, steam tank, etc), despite being an animal unit (same goes for Miyagi). Question is, if she/they should be able to use some sort of weapon from basket.

no luck with that, turning off fog of war is done in source code, we can't easily disable it (could be hacked on client side, but that's not secure)

Oh yes, playing the map in multiplayer allows to have fog of war to be turned off, i forgot that :D I think when players were near the spawning point of those units (close to warpgate) they didn't check the enemy units individually what the owner's name is, just killed everything with their army.
